The short version

We inspect websites, not people. There are no ad trackers and no analytics cookies here, and nothing you give us is sold, rented or shared for anyone's marketing.

Who we are

Your Website Sucks (ywscheck.com) is run by Legacy IT Consulting, Don Lamb Jr., McKinney, Texas. Questions: don@litconsults.com or 945.910.1301.

What we collect

• The address you inspect. We fetch that site's public pages, the way any visitor would, and keep the result so the ticket, the seal and the monthly re-inspection work.
• Your email, if you give it, to send your full ticket, plus anything you type into the building-permit form (name, business, phone, notes).
• Counts, not profiles. We count page views, tickets and button clicks by day. A visitor is recognized for one day only, by a one-way scrambled code that can't be turned back into an IP address. No cookies are set for this.
• Server logs kept by our host for security and troubleshooting.
• Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number; Stripe tells us what was bought, for which site.

Links from our emails

If you arrived from an email Don sent you, the link carries a tag. When you open your inspection or click an offer, that's noted on your business's record in our customer system so Don knows to follow up. It's tied to your business, not tracked around the web.

Who else handles it

Netlify (hosting and forms), HubSpot (our customer records), Google Workspace (email), Stripe (payments) and Legacy Signal (the inspection engine). Each works under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Health information

Please don't send patient or other protected health information through this site. The inspection only looks at public web pages.

How long we keep it

Inspection results are kept while a site holds or is working toward the seal. Contact details from people who never became clients are deleted within two years.

Ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you or your site, or to stop hearing from us: email don@litconsults.com. We answer within 30 days.
